🗑️ Account Deletion
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Carvo account, please review the following information:
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
- Your personal information (name, email, phone number, address) will be permanently deleted
- Your booking history and transaction records will be removed
- Any saved payment methods will be deleted
- Your vehicle listings (if any) will be removed from the platform
- You will lose access to the Carvo app and all associated services
⚠️ Important Considerations
- Active Bookings: You must complete or cancel all active bookings before deleting your account
- Outstanding Payments: Any pending payments or charges must be settled
- Irreversible Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- Data Retention: Some data may be retained for legal and regulatory compliance (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) as required by law
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the Carvo app and log in to your account
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll down and select "Delete Account"
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion
- You'll receive a confirmation email once your account is deleted
Option 2: Email Request
If you're unable to access the app, send an email to support@carvocarshare.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include:
- Your full name
- Registered email address
- Phone number associated with your account
- Confirmation that you understand the deletion is permanent
Processing Time: Account deletion requests are typically processed within 7-14 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email once completed.
